Not every Asian concept requires the same mobile kitchen. A food truck designed for fast service can be compact, while a concept with hot food preparation requires more space, ventilation, storage and technical facilities.
| Type of concept | Key considerations | Suitable choice |
|---|---|---|
| Sushi or cold preparation | Refrigeration, hygiene, worktop space, neat presentation | Compact food trailer or sales van with refrigerated storage |
| Spring rolls or snacks | Deep-frying, extraction, service speed, grease safety | Food trailer with hot food preparation area |
| Wok or hot street food | Power supply, ventilation, workflow, workspace | Larger mobile kitchen with a clear preparation zone |
| Mixed Asian street food | Combining refrigeration, hot preparation, storage and service | Custom layout based on menu and sales volume |

Buying an Asian food truck is the right choice if you want to start or expand a professional mobile catering business. You’re not just choosing a sales vehicle, but a workspace that needs to function practically on a daily basis.
When putting together the food truck, we consider the layout, workflow and appearance. This prevents important decisions from only becoming apparent once the truck is already in use. Think about walking space, storage, serving area, equipment positioning and the visibility of your brand on the exterior.
Do you want your food truck to match an existing corporate identity? Then the appearance can be incorporated into the design. Think of colour scheme, signage and a recognisable exterior. Insufficient data: specific branding options and printing possibilities must still be provided before they can be specified in detail.

Leasing an Asian food truck can be a good option if you want to start a professional business but don’t want to invest the full purchase price straight away. This allows you to keep your budget free for other important aspects of launching your mobile catering business, such as equipment, stock, staff, branding and marketing.
With an Asian food truck, the final investment depends heavily on the chosen configuration. A compact sales vehicle for quick service requires a different layout to a mobile kitchen for hot food preparation, deep-frying, stir-frying or a combination of dishes. That is why it is wise to first finalise your menu, equipment requirements and sales locations before requesting a lease proposal.
Whether leasing is possible depends on your business, the chosen food truck or food trailer, and the financial terms. Multiwagon can help you determine which model suits your plans and which purchase or lease option best fits your needs.

An Asian food truck must be suited to the realities of mobile catering. Technical choices are particularly important when it comes to hot food preparation. These choices determine how comfortably, safely and efficiently you can work.
Key requirements to determine in advance:
Licences, site regulations and local requirements vary by council, event and sales location. You should therefore always check in advance which rules apply to your situation.

A good food truck concept starts with a clear menu and a realistic approach. Next comes the choice of size, layout, equipment and appearance. Multiwagon can help you make those choices practical.
A logical step-by-step plan:
This way, you avoid choosing a vehicle that looks good but, in practice, offers too little space, power or storage.

Are you unsure whether to choose a compact food van, a food trailer or a more spacious mobile kitchen? Then expert advice is essential. This is particularly true for an Asian food truck, as the menu often dictates the technical specifications.
Discuss your concept with Multiwagon and let us assess which model suits your plans. Bring your menu, preferred sales locations and any equipment requirements to the discussion. You’ll then receive more tailored advice on size, layout and options.
